Senior PHP Developer
The Senior PHP Developer is responsible for production and maintenance of PHP-based projects and test suites. Additionally, the Senior PHP Developer provides leadership, guidance and consultation to Junior PHP Developers whenever appropriate.
You have at least 3 years of professional experience with references. A college degree is not mandatory; we will also consider self-taught engineers with an impressive background.
You are very passionate about software engineering and creating beautiful, fully-commented, easy to read code and be well-versed in concepts like DRY, KISS, UX, and Good Enough Software.
Required Skills:
- PHP
- HTML & JavaScript
- OOP and design patterns
- Unix-based OSes such as CentOS
- Windows
- Zend/IonCube
- MySQL
- CSS & HTML (fanatical about web standards)
- Apache/IIS
- Regular expressions (PCRE)
- Awareness of web application security
- Understanding of localization and Unicode a must
- Knowledge of TCP/IP and/or HTTP a plus
